Member Spotlight with Catherine Schellenberg
This month, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on our 2025/26 President, Catherine Schellenberg, REALTOR® with RE/MAX Professionals. With nearly 23 years in the industry, Catherine brings deep expertise and a few delightful surprises to the role.
Before real estate, Catherine thrived in the horticulture world. She worked in various roles within the industry and even ran her own store in Brandon, Manitoba. But after a conversation with a REALTOR® during a friend’s home purchase, it sparked her interest in a career change, and she’s never looked back.
For Catherine, success in real estate is simple: happy clients. She loves the flexibility of her work and the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life.
She’s also a self-proclaimed MacGyver. “If there’s a problem to be solved with a nut, a bolt, and a screw… give me five minutes and I’ll figure it out!” A recent success story from her crafty nature: carpeting a staircase! Although she’s no expert, she’s proud of her ability to improvise and do renovation jobs herself
Outside of work, Catherine is a passionate cook and a dedicated thrifter. Famous for her pies and her knack for uncovering nostalgic treasures — especially jewelry, cookware, and local pottery — she brings creativity and curiosity to everything she does.
We’re thrilled we had the chance to sit down with Catherine. Watch the full interview today! 🎥
