The Manitoba Real Estate Association (MREA) is pleased to share our perspective on Manitoba’s Budget 2026, released yesterday. This year’s budget reflects the province’s continued focus on affordability and cost‑of‑living relief, at a time when many Manitobans are feeling financial pressure.

Legislation regulating the real estate profession, The Real Estate Services Act (RESA) and its Regulation, has been updated, and these changes have now been incorporated into the Salesperson Licensing Program course materials.As a result, registration for Modules 1, 2, and 3 is temporarily paused while we transition to the updated content. New Module 4 dates will be confirmed in the new year and shared with students once finalized.Registration will resume during the week of January 5-9, 2026.
