Meet your 2026-27 MREA President, Akash Bedi!

A familiar face in Manitoba’s real estate community, Akash is the broker/owner of RE/MAX Executives Realty, with a career rooted in both experience and passion. Growing up, he watched his father build a successful real estate business as a REALTOR® and broker, which sparked an early interest in the profession and inspired him to follow in his footsteps.

But his path to real estate wasn’t a straight line.

Before entering the industry, Akash explored a range of experiences, from epidemiology and retail to a side hustle as a DJ, where he became known for his loud bass sound at socials and parties. That entrepreneurial spirit stayed with him, eventually leading him back to real estate and the opportunity to take over his father’s brokerage.

Today, Akash continues to sell homes while leading his brokerage, something he believes is essential. Staying active in the field allows him to guide his team with real, hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the day-to-day challenges REALTORS® face.

His commitment to the profession extends far beyond his brokerage. After being encouraged to get involved, Akash joined his local board, served as president, and has since continued his leadership journey at the provincial level. Now, as MREA’s President, he is focused on strengthening and advancing the industry for the future.

Akash is a strong advocate for getting involved and making a difference. His message to fellow REALTORS® is simple: meaningful change happens when you step up and put in the work.
