Meet Joel Green, Chair of the Manitoba REALTORS® Shelter Foundation
This month, we’re shining a spotlight on Manitoba REALTORS® Shelter Foundation Chair, Joel Green.
Joel’s passion for helping people extends far beyond his day-to-day real estate business. He’s a strong advocate for giving back — encouraging others to use their time and skills to support those in need of safe, stable housing.
Before real estate, Joel owned a salon here in Winnipeg. After closing that chapter, transitioning into real estate felt natural. Whether it’s a great cut and colour or helping someone find their dream home, Joel is driven by seeing people walk away happy and confident.
After years of serving as a board member, Joel recently stepped into the role of Chair, where he now leads a dedicated group of REALTOR® volunteers in advancing fundraising initiatives for the Foundation.
Outside of his board work, Joel is taking on Habitat for Humanity Manitoba’s Cycle of Hope—a seven-day ride through the heart of southern Manitoba, spanning open prairies and welcoming communities.
