Real Estate Services Act - MREA’s Advocacy Timeline

In 2014, The Manitoba Securities Commission (MSC) invited a working group, comprised of individual past president broker-members of both MREA and Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board (WRREB), along with MREA’s CEO and legal counsel, to review and provide input on the RESA framework. The working group was involved in a series of consultation meetings which took place over several years. These consultations resulted in many changes that benefit members, and changes which we believe will strengthen the confidence of the public in our membership.
