REALTOR® Place Reconstruction Update

We’re excited to share that steady progress continued throughout May as work on REALTOR® Place moves ahead

Inside the building, the transformation is becoming much more visible. Crews have been busy framing, boarding, and finishing walls and ceilings across several key spaces, including the boardroom, training room, members’ lounge, coffee bar, kitchen, and washrooms. These areas are now taking on their final shape, giving a clearer sense of how the finished space will look and feel. In some areas, painting and finishing work has already begun in the open office, marking an exciting shift from construction to refinement.

Behind the scenes, a lot of important work is also happening to keep everything running smoothly. Electrical and mechanical systems are progressing, including lighting, wiring, and major HVAC upgrades to support the building in the long term.

Significant activity has also been taking place on the roof and exterior of the building. Crews have been removing older rooftop equipment and installing new systems, alongside ongoing roofing work to prepare the building envelope for the next phase. Exterior walls have also begun to be prepped for finishing, which will help bring the building’s final look together.

Overall, May was a big month focused on core building systems and interior construction, key milestones that bring us one step closer to the finished space and a planned return in fall 2026.
