Mandatory MREA Course: The Harassment and Discrimination Prevention

The Harassment and Discrimination Prevention course is a 45-minute online course that members must complete by December 15, 2023. There is no fee for members to take this course.

The course was created and mandated by the MREA board of directors due to the increased awareness of the harms of harassment and discrimination, as well as the increase in inappropriate behaviour occurring in many segments of society, including the real estate profession.

This course has been designed to assist members in creating environments of respect, and to recognize harassment and discrimination when it is occurring. Additionally, it will provide members with reporting and safety guidance should members experience harassment and/or discrimination, and outlines potential consequences for inappropriate behaviour, among other topics.

This is an MREA mandatory course which must be completed in addition to members’ completion of the MSC-mandated RLE 23 course.
