Introducing Canada’s First real estate Global Business Council

Global business councils drive global business opportunities for REALTORS® by providing networking, education, and economic development opportunities.

These councils work with economic development agencies and other partners to help support economic development efforts in their regions. The first council was started in the mid-1990s and today, there are 125 global business councils across the United States of America. 

The MREA Global Business Council is the first in Canada and is based on three strategic pillars with the intention to:

• Engage and empower members to grow global business
• Foster partnerships and strategic relationships
• Drive thought leadership and advocacy

With over 1.4 million REALTORS® across North America, MREA members are part of a strong network of community and business leaders located throughout the continent. By forming a global business council, Manitoba REALTORS® demonstrate they are strong partners in attracting business and residents to the province, are able to provide market intelligence and strategic real estate insight, and are respected ambassadors in the international REALTOR® association community.
