Principles of Property Management
The Principles of Property Management course recognizes the unique requirements of property managers, tenants, and landlords in an increasingly sophisticated marketplace. The course focuses solely on property management skills and knowledge. Discussions, examples, and exercises cover a broad range of areas, including residential, office, retail, and industrial.
The range of information, combined with a broad array of exercises, prepares you for marketplace challenges, while setting the stage for advanced studies in other property management programs.
You must successfully complete this self-study course within six months of registration (including exam and exam re-writes, if necessary).
This course includes a final exam. You will need a mark of 70 per cent or greater to pass the exam. MREA hosts exams weekly at the MREA office, and in select locations outside of Winnipeg. See Exam Policies for further information on exam requirements and scheduling.
MSC Application Deadline
You must acquire your licence from The Manitoba Securities Commission (MSC) within six months of course completion. If you fail to register within this timeframe, you may be required to take additional education.
